Effective April 19, 2021, the nutrition services department will offer all elementary students participating in the district's afternoon, opt-in sessions a free grab-and-go meal consisting of a breakfast item, milk, and fruit or juice at dismissal.
Meanwhile, our regular distribution of meals at Spruce Elementary, Westborough Middle School, and El Camino High will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
On Tuesdays, we will provide three days' worth of meals (including vegetarian options), and on Thursdays we will provide four days' worth of meals.
Per USDA guidelines, SSFUSD no longer needs to collect the normal prices charged to students for meals.
Families who qualify may also receive discounted internet access between $10 to $23 a month from the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) and other benefits such as lower advance placement (AP) test fees.
Call the nutrition services department at 650-877-8716 for more information.
