South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) Superintendent Dr. Shawnterra Moore delivers a virtual welcome back address to teachers and school employees before the start of the 2021-22 school year on August 11, 2021.
The district is set to resume traditional, classroom instruction despite the emergence of the delta variant amid the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It's the first time in 17 months that all elementary, middle, and high school students will be on campus since SSFUSD transitioned to distance learning on March 16, 2020, to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
