Students of South City High's Ballet Folklórico Alma de México program performed at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House on March 20, 2023, before an audience of more than 6,000 students, families, and educators for San Francisco Unified School District's annual Children's Day celebration.

The multicultural dance performances were sponsored by the Presidio Performing Arts Foundation and included a Norouz suite to celebrate Persian New Year and the first day of spring.
